Why Beyond the Culture Podcast?
Beyond the Culture Podcast™ was birthed out of my experience of growing up in Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn, NY. Bedford-Stuyvesant was a community where there was not much inspiration or aspiration. I saw gang violence and drug deals. The neighborhood was full of abandoned buildings and empty lots. I believed throughout my life that there was more; that there was more for me to see; more for me to have; more for me to experience. I knew that I could go beyond the culture that I saw and that my life could be more fulfilling. I started the show because I know that there are people who refuse to live life within the margins; people who say there’s more to life than what I have. Some people have decided to go beyond the culture, and that’s why I know that this podcast is for you because I know that you are focused on the best that life has to offer. Whether you are an entrepreneur, an athlete, a public speaker, or a parent, you believe in the more of life and live a life beyond the culture.
